Come learn about wild plants and their uses. Meet local author Mikaela Cannon and get a chance to pick up your copy of her new book, Foraging as a Way of Life. Mikaela has been teaching outdoor skills and sustainable foraging in the Okanagan for over a decade and is excited to share some of her foraging tips with you in this engaging workshop.
Copies of Cannon's book will be available for purchase for $35 (cash and debit accepted), while Cannon's family provides a short set acoustic musical performance.
Mikaela Cannon facilitates classes, workshops, and hikes focused on responsible foraging and wildcrafting, and is passionate about passing on to the next generation the skills and knowledge required to harvest and prepare wild foods.
