Join us at St. Michael’s Church for a compelling author talk by award-winning writer Cynthia LeBrun, as she shares the moving story of her mother-in-law’s survival during the Holodomor, a devastating famine that swept through Soviet-occupied Ukraine in the 1930s. Cynthia’s book, which won the prestigious Peterson Award for fostering understanding of Ukraine and its people, also highlights the resilience of the Ukrainian people against Soviet collectivization and the brutal forced labor imposed by the Nazis during WWII.Event Details:
