Join us on Saturday, September 27th from 3-6PM as we welcome authors Brian Rouff, Mariah Tyler Moore, and Valerie J. Runyan! From mysteries to sci-fi to short stories and poetry, this event welcomes all types of readers. Read on to learn more about the authors.
Brian Rouff is a veteran of the advertising business, always feeling he had a novel or two in him. He tells people writing books is how he handled his mid-life crisis. Safer than a motorcycle and cheaper than a divorce, he likes to say. Beyond that, he wanted to write books that really capture what it's like to live in this crazy town of Las Vegas. He considers this town a wealth of material. "All you have to do is keep your eyes open and take notes."
Mariah Tyler Moore builds worlds and breaks hearts. With a pen that travels from the grimdark depths of epic fantasy (The Trilogy of Thalvannar) to the chilling landscapes of post-apocalyptic survival (Brace For It), she crafts stories about found families, unlikely heroes, and the beautiful, messy business of being human.
Valerie J Runyan has written all her life. As a writing life coach, she helps authors write what they need written. She began writing in Los Angeles before raising her two children and settling in Las Vegas, where she continues her writing and publishing journey. Her newest work, Quandaries of Love, is her debut collection of narratives.
