Sarah Yelencich, author of "The Fading Kiss", was inspired by her IVF journey to write a heartfelt children's book. Married since 2019 and a proud mom since 2021, Sarah embraced a new dream in 2023, as she approached her 40th birthday—becoming a children's author. Her story explores themes of infertility, family strength, loss, and resilience, aiming to inspire others to pursue their dreams despite life's obstacles. Through her writing, Sarah encourages stepping out of comfort zones to find hope and courage.
She continues to navigate life as a working mom, wife and dreamer, by embracing the twists and turns with love and determination.
"The Fading Kiss" is a tale of hope, loss, and unbreakable bonds. The heartwarming children's story takes readers on a journey with Mr. & Mrs. Lovebird, a couple longing for a family of their own. With the help of Dr. A, they are blessed with two miracle eggs - Hudson and Emerald. However, when Emerald has to leave for heaven, she becomes Hudson's guardian angel, who always watches over him. As Hudson grows, he finds strength in his sister's love, symbolized by a fading kiss on his cheek. This touching tale teaches readers about love, loss, and the invisible bond that connects us all. This is a free event that needs a ticket to hold your place. An adult needs to attend with children ages 8 and under. The program will last approximately 30 minutes and is limited to 12 children and their adult caregiver(s). We ask that if you are unable to attend you return your spot on Eventbrite so that someone else can use it. Please only reserve ONE TICKET PER CHILD. Adults DO NOT need a ticket.
