This event is for audiences of all ages.

Vonnegut Scholar, PhD and all around master of literary analysis, Marc Leeds, had stepped away from his critique space to pen a charming book for children that explains the "ins" and "outs" of kids most fascinating topic - doody!
Leeds first came up with this fact filled tale when answering questions put to him by his own daughters. The Doody Book or Potty Ecology will answer your child's questions, too.
Cleverly illustrated by Marc's sister-in-law, Eileen, this book is one that every young person should have in America's most common reading room.
The publisher is Charles Bruce Foundation at charlesbrucefoundation.com.

Author and educator Marc Leeds, is founder of the Kurt Vonnegut Society and a founding board member of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library.
Starting with his newest book, The Doody Story, Marc Leeds turned to writing children’s stories that explore some of society's imponderable questions and perceptions. And, as a fan of the remarkably practical, it's about time.
Marc's renewed passion for telling simple stories comes after a long and successful career using the writing process to teach subversively, moving eager learners from rote assignment completion to rigorously considered, thoughtful pieces. (Oh, the days of critical thinking!)
While teaching and directing university writing programs was his day job, Leeds spent more than thirty-years toiling at night on his magnum opus, The Vonnegut Encyclopedia. Because he toiled tirelessly on this remarkable tome, he considers himself a modern day twelfth-century scholar.
One of Marc's favorite pastimes is returning to Indianapolis, the birthplace of his dear friend and muse, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
