Local author Patrice McDonough returns to Copperfish Books to talk about her second Victorian-era mystery novel, A Slash of Emerald (published by Kensington). A trailblazing female medical examiner in 1867 London and a skeptical Scotland Yard detective investigate a string of art world murders in this dark, atmospheric, historically rich mystery.

About the Author

After three decades of teaching high school history, Patrice retired and began a second career writing mysteries. She fell in love with Seminole Lakes when she visited her brother and sister-in-law. She divides her time between New Jersey and the Florida house she shares with her sister.
