We are hosting an Author Night on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 5:30-7:00pm. Please join us at this FREE ticketed event as we honor the life, legacy and leadership of one of the toughest football players in history, Joe Kapp! (Tickets WILL NOT be available at the door, so reserve yours today!)J.J. Kapp and Robert G. Phelps will read an excerpt from the biography they co-authored with the late Joe Kapp, along with Jim Rainey (L.A. Times), a Q&A moderated by Ignacio Ornelas Rodriguez, PhD and signing of purchased books to follow. Books will be available for purchase in our bookshop at the event!
A portion of the proceeds from book purchases are tax deductible benefitting the UCB Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association and Salinas Valley Dream Academy. Both are 501(c) organizations.
