His new book, "LA's Landmark Restaurants," goes into the origins of eateries humble and artful that made this city the dining destination that it is. George will talk about how he researched and wrote the book, tell stories about the colorful characters who started restaurant empires, then engage in conversation with culinary historian Richard Foss and accept questions from the audience.
