This is our 2nd Dance Collab for the year and we are fortunate to have Anne Hurst teach us a wonderful practice called 'Authentic Movement'.Here is a brief description of the practice:
An Authentic Movement workshop fosters deep self-awareness, creativity and emotional insight. Moving freely with eyes closed, participants connect with inner impulses while witnesses offer supportive presence. This practice cultivates mindfulness, reduces stress and enhances self trust, offering a powerful, embodied experience of personal and relational transformation.
The practice is fun and builds connection within the group.
No prior dance experience is necessary.
The session will begin with a check in and circle for dancers and ends with a check in circle.
Dance Collab classes are sponsored by Touch Compass, a leading professional dance company for people of all abilities.
Cost is $15.00 per person (Cash or direct transfer)
