AustraLYSIS:austraLYSIS, longstanding international sound and intermedia improvisation ensemble is celebrating the current release of a new album, Dualling on Earshift. This features duets between people and: people, machines, preformed sounds, environments, images and video, and texts. Many of these components will be included in tonight's performance by :

Jo Lawry's Acrobats Trio:
Jo Lawry recorded her album "Acrobats" in 2021 with Linda May Han Oh on bass and Allison Miller on drums. The chordless trio format, unusual for a singer, finds Jo acting as much a horn as a singer. In his 4.5 star review, Downbeat's Scott Yanow wrote "One could imagine Sonny Rollins playing many of many of these phrases and ideas" and Peter Quinn of Jazzwise magazine called the album "... a fearless, freewheeling delight." For this trio outing, Jo is joined by Sydney's own:
