Australian Deaf Rugby Community Day - Training and Send-Off

Come along and support the Australian Deaf Rugby Men’s and Women’s teams as they prepare to represent Australia at the World Deaf Rugby 7s Championships in Tokyo.
This is a special opportunity for the Deaf, hard-of-hearing, rugby and wider community to come together, celebrate our athletes and be part of their journey from Australia to Tokyo.
Watch the teams take part in their final training session before departure, meet the players, coaches and support staff, and learn more about the important work Australian Deaf Rugby is doing to create inclusive pathways and opportunities through sport.
Whether you are a rugby supporter, a member of the Deaf or hard-of-hearing community, a family member, friend, local community member, aspiring athlete, or simply want to cheer on Team Australia—everyone is welcome.
Your support on the day will help give the teams a memorable send-off and show young Deaf and hard-of-hearing people that there is a place for them in rugby and in sport.
