Around 200 studios across Australia open their doors on November 23 + 24.
Australian Ceramics Open Studios is an annual, nationwide, weekend event that celebrates clay, community and creativity. Hosted by The Australian Ceramics Association, ceramics studios around Australia open their doors to offer a peek into their making, practical demonstrations and the chance to take home a handmade piece.
The SA Clay Trail takes you to all FIVE different studios showcasing works by six ceramic artists who are open for this special weekend event. The total driving time is around two and a half hours. To complete the trail in one day you could spend about half an hour at each studio and have time for a lunch break along the way. Or you could split the trail in half to allow yourself more time along the way.
