Alexandrina celebrates Australia Day with a Citizenship Ceremony at Goolwa and the awarding of our Citizen of the Year Awards at two events in Goolwa and Strathalbyn.Awards for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year, and Active Citizenship are presented annually to local citizens and community organisations who have made outstanding contributions to the South Australian community.
The Australian Citizenship Ceremony followed by the Australia Day Awards Presentation will be held at 11 am, Monday 26 January 2026 at Centenary Hall, 14 Cadell Street, Goolwa.
