Join your community for the Austin P.O.W.E.R. 5K on September 25, 2021! Every year the Austin P.O.W.E.R. 5K creates awareness on threatening health factors in the community, this year we want to create awareness on Breast Cancer.
Breast Cancer Awareness was inspired by Kim Strong, a local resident in the Austin Community who sadly lost her fight against Breast Cancer this year. Kim Strong, an AKA, was a women who always put others before herself. In honor of her memory, the colors featured in the 5K will be pink and green.
This past year has been difficult for the community, for these reasons this 5K will be less of a race and more of an event to bring the community together. You can walk or run your way across the finish line, as long as you finish STRONG, like Kim Strong!
