This is a weekly meet up for men to find real connection - away from competition, booze, and distractions - while enjoying outdoors and meaningful conversation. What are we gonna do?We’ll create sparring scenarios often similar to wrestling, sometimes with storylines. And we are gonna talk a little and reflect upon the process. Mostly staying practical. That’s the rough idea - everyone is invited to co-create and co-facilitate.

Oftentimes, the task is to touch a body part and avoid being touched there yourself. Sometimes it’s about defending yourself from being put in vulnerable positions, and other times you'll defend something else like a defined space or an object. Everything can be scaled to the appropriate difficulty.Meetings are designed to be engaging and approachable for everyone, regardless of athletic ability. Let’s create a supportive atmosphere, provide safe challenges, and the right balance of failure and success.The overarching theme is to learn how to be a good player - in the game of fighting, in the game of relating to others, and in the game of life. Everyone is invited to play their own inner game at all times.This kind of play will also develop physical skills - particularly self-defense. It’s not just playing silly games - although that’s welcome too. But, ultimately we aim to play intentionally. We aim not just to win but also to help each other become better.
