The Austin Cebulske trio, featuring bassist Erik Applegate and drummer Bobby Wiens,will be performing an array of straight ahead standards from the Great American Songbook
along with a few original compositions from band members. This performance will feature
special guest saxophonist Andrew Janak, newly minted professor of Jazz Saxophone at UNC.
Stop in for a night of swinging duo saxophone arrangements in the vein of the classic groups
lead by Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson, and Melissa Aldana. Students are welcome and
encouraged to bring their axes and sit in!
