Austin-based nonprofit HOME hosts series of events at The Saxon Pub, Nov. 4 & Nov. 11

Austin-based nonprofit HOME (Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers) has launched a series of events hosted at their longtime supporter The Saxon Pub (located at 1320 S Lamar Blvd Austin TX 78704) by Board Member Kimmie Rhodes. This series launched in September is a continuation of a series launched in 2023 with 100% of proceeds benefiting HOME. On Monday November 4th the HOME series will feature music by Ray Benson and hosted by Mitch Ballard of BMI. The show is from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Then the following Monday November 11th the series will feature music by Happyland Austin’s new feel good band made up of Shawn Pander Johnny Goudie Harmoni Kelley John Chipman Gabriel & Kimmie & Louis Rhodes. The show is from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. The 2024 series launched with “​​Mr. Texas Night” featuring author Larry Wright alongside Gordon Wright & Marcia Ball telling stories and swapping songs.
