Austin & The Syd Experience Presents: FUNK is REALA night to celebrate THE FUNK: performed by Austin & The Syd Experience, including songs by Betty Davis, Funkadelic, Larry Graham, Sly Stone, and Prince.
The music of ASYD funk would be best described as guitar driven space rock mixed with psychedelic funk and gritty powerhouse vocals to please your eardrums putting Columbus on map with their brand of “ASYD FUNK”. Austin & The Syd Experience formed officially in the summer of 2022 with influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix, Funkadelic, Led Zeppelin, Betty Davis and Janis Joplin. These two have been described as a “Powerhouse Duo” due to Austin’s dynamic guitar playing abilities and Syd’s strong, gritty powerhouse vocals.”
