August – Monthly Meeting – Karla Van Horne – iPad & Design

Karla Van Horne will be back in town after the HOT Show and teaching her iPad class for the Houston Leather Guild. (iPad is not required,) But it is highly recommended if you have one. You will learn about how she uses this tool to design and modify patterns for tooling. Bring your iPad, note taking material and your phone for photos (refence). You will need the Apple Pencil for your iPad as well. If you do not have an iPad this will serve as a primer to help you decide if you would want one for pattern design purposes. Just a note: Karla's entire "Elements" book and soon to publish Belt book have been written and designed on the iPad.
