Fancy giving Collegiate Shag a try? Come along to a taster class in Shag dancing, with Ruth and Murray - followed by mixed-Swing social dancing open to all
In this dance class, we'll teach you some basic Collegiate Shag moves so that you can immediately dance this Swing dance on a social dancefloor. Collegiate Shag is a Swing dance originating from the 1920s, generally danced to faster swinging Jazz and is energetic and pure fun.
The class runs from 19:15 till 20:15 and is followed by social dancing with music for Balboa, Lindy, Blues and more. The class costs £8/£6 including social. Social only costs ££4/£3. Pay at the door with card or cash
We aso have taster classes in Balboa, on 6 August, in Solo Jazz, on 20 August, and in Blues, on 27 August.
