🎧📚 Join SBC Plano in person for our August Audiobook Walk at Oak Point Park! Grab your headphones, your current audiobook obsession, and come enjoy a fun, relaxing morning with fellow readers. Whether you want to walk and listen, chat with bookish friends, or simply enjoy some fresh air and quiet reading time, this is the perfect laid-back way to spend your morning. 💓👟

📍 Meet:
At the pavilion — look for the Book Walk sign! We’ll take a group photo at 8:00 AM sharp before hitting the trail.

Approximately 2–3 miles

Paved walking path

This event is rain or shine unless there is lightning or temperatures exceed 100°. By RSVPing, you agree to the RSVP policy listed below regardless of weather conditions.
Accessibility always matters to us — we call it an “audiobook walk,” but really, we mean any way you’re able to comfortably enjoy your audiobook and participate. 🫶

📚 Cancellations / No-Show Policy
RSVP's and Cancellation window will close for that day 2 days prior to events.
RSVP/No-Show Policy:
We understand that unexpected situations happen, and we know plans can change. To keep things fair for everyone and ensure our venues have accurate attendance numbers, we kindly ask that you update your RSVP at least 48 hours before the event if you can no longer attend.

We monitor both no-shows and late cancellations (less than 48 hours' notice), including cancellations made through Eventbrite. After three (3) no-shows or late cancellations, you will receive a 30-day RSVP pause before you can register for future Silent Book Club events.This includes Eventbrite RSVP's. Cancelling your RSVP via eventbrite within the 48 hour window still counts as a dock to the policy.

Your RSVP is a commitment to attend. If the date or time changes, you will not be penalized. However, if only the location changes, your RSVP will still be considered valid and must be updated or canceled within 48 hours.
