Please bring a plushie or sweet treat if you want to participate!
Format: bring 6, play 6 singles
Team Construction: Bring pokemon you are willing to trade away. All Clauses except the Legendary Pokemon Clause are in effect for team construction (Item clause, Species clause, etc.) You may have as many Legendary Pokemon as you like on your team, but they must be legit (caught by you or someone you know legitimately caught them in a save file) and you must be willing to trade them away if you lose and your opponent requests them. Please make sure all Pokemon used are legitimate in case someone were to use a pokemon obtained in this event at an official Pokemon Tournament. More details on traded Pokemon below.
Clauses: All Standard Clauses except the Legendary Pokemon Clause will be in effect for this event. Item Clause may be broken if a traded Pokemon has the same item as a Pokemon already on your team. Terastalization is allowed for this event.
Pokemon Exchange Tournament Rules
Everyone writes down 6 pokemon with chosen: (Not shown to opponents)
a) Items
b) Abilities
c) EVs/IVs
d) Moves
e) Tera type
Rounds are best of 3 battles, double knockout bracket
a) Single Battle
b) Normal Rules
i) No Repeat Pokemon (except if traded onto team)
ii) No Repeat Items (except if traded onto team)
c) All pokemon are allowed (Including Legendary)
After each round (all 3 battles) the winner chooses 1 pokemon to trade from the loser
a) Winner chooses which pokemon to take
b) Winner ALSO chooses which pokemon to give
c) Winner does not get to look at any of the losers pokemon before deciding on exchange (must use information gained during the battle.)
d) All pokemon are traded “as is” without modification after the round concludes. (Including Items)
Pokemon are not returned at the end of the tournament.
a)Be prepared to get and give a lot of new pokemon!
