Our August 19 Program will feature Margie Davidson, quilt artist and surface designer from Qualicum Beach.
Her lecture, “There IS Something About Colour!”, takes a look at COLOUR in the world around us. Margie combines colour theory, colour history, and information about using the colour wheel in an engaging mix, with a collection of her own colourful art quilts.
Being surrounded by nature on her daily walks allows Margie to be inspired by the changing colours of the seasons. Margie’s art quilts have been exhibited nationally and internationally, and are held in private and public collections.
