This month’s circle we’ll share a simple guided ritual centered on gratitude, reflection, and community. Together we’ll ask:
* What did I cultivate this year?
* What did it cost me?
We’ll honor the people, experiences, and strengths that have nourished us, offer gratitude for the harvest in our own lives, and symbolically release what no longer serves us into the fire.
Whether your harvest has been joyful, difficult, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome to join us as we gather, reflect, and give thanks for the journey that brought us here.
⛱️ We will be at a home with a swimming pool, so bring your swim gear & towel! This event is primarily geared towards adults, but older children are welcome with a parent/guardian who takes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for their child’s safety (and respect for the host’s property) while on play equipment or in the pool. Please bring personal flotation for non-proficient swimmers! Important safety rules for ALL swimmers are posted poolside.
🍗🍲This will be a cookout & potluck event. Burgers, veg burgers & hotdogs are provided by the hosts. Bring your other grillables if desired or a side dish, snack/dessert or non-alcoholic beverage to share (with a list of ingredients for allergies/food restrictions), preferably something on the healthier side. We have attendees with gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian diets, and they surely appreciate options for those who care to cater. (Bringing something is optional but encouraged to foster community sharing.) Please note that glass beverage containers cannot be used near the pool!
🕕 Tentative Schedule:
5:30-6:00pm Pool time starts
6:00pm-7:30pm Potluck & grillin’
7:30pm-8:30pm Fire circle
8:30-10:00pm Free time
[After 10:00pm is quiet hours for our neighborhood.]
Please feel free to come and go whenever it is most convenient for you.
🪑While we have some outdoor seating, bring your own chairs if you want to ensure you have a comfortable place to sit around the fire!
🌙 This is a free meetup for the spiritual community, and anybody open to alternative ways of life - a wonderful way to meet and connect with like-minded folks! These events are intended to allow us time to socialize, while also contributing to group spirituality. You can expect different group discussions, meditations, divination, etc.
🔥 What is a fire circle? These events are not "traditional" fire circles, but they may include elements. Fire has brought humans together since the dawn of time. It's a safe place to foster warmth, healing, and connection, as well as being a place to commune with the element of fire, which aides in burning bridges and igniting your divine path in life. It's a vulnerable space of sharing with your fellow humans, where masks are no longer needed. This type of spiritual alchemy eclipses these events themselves and flows into your daily life. Our circle may include sharing about a given topic. Ceremonies/rituals and/or meditations may be a part of these circles as well.
🗺 This event is held at a residence in Rio Rancho. The exact address will be released the day prior to the event date via direct message ONLY for those marked as "going." If you decide to come last minute or somehow we miss sending you the address, message one of the hosts for the address (no guarantee of a response, though, as we may be busy). Be sure to check message requests, as messages often go there if you're not friends with the hosts on here.
Please do not share the address with anyone not RSVP'd, unless you've spoken to the host already. Please do invite others though! No need to message if bringing a partner.
🐶 This home has dogs, for those with allergies. (FYI they are small and will be penned for their safety, so they won’t get underfoot.)
🚗 If you need assistance with transportation, please join our group at the bottom of this description. There are typically others willing to carpool or rideshare.
✨️️These events are meant to encourage community. We are all teachers and students. We invite those who are called to share their gifts (of any kind) to reach out to the host to set something up for one of the events. Additionally, you're welcome to bring tarot cards and any other tools or instruments you'd like to share with others during the times outside of the fire circle.
🪘We also encourage you to bring drums or instruments of choice, as well as anything you like to dance in to bring forth an energy that elevates consciousness and transcends mundane life. (There are not always drums- it depends on who brings and decides to play them.)
🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️This is an LGBTQ+ friendly space. Expect a diverse range of people from all types of communities.
Note: If you're shy or introverted, feel free to reach out to a host to arrange a prior meetup and/or perhaps arriving early before others, whatever works. We understand it can be overwhelming walking into a house of strangers and are here to make it comfier and more accessible!
We have a group on here for the meetup to make it easier to stay up to date with events and other happenings. This is for folks that have attended or plan to soon. We're not wanting to collect inactive people.
