TRAINING CLASSES AT HSSW
Whether you're starting a puppy off right or helping an adult dog build new skills, our positive reinforcement classes are designed to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. See below for all classes offered this month, organized by price.
6-WEEK SERIES
🐕 Puppy Essentials - $180/dog - For puppies under 6 months. Covers socialization, training foundations, and responsible ownership. Earn a S.T.A.R. Puppy title upon completion. First class is people-only.
🦴Teen Manners - $180/dog - For dogs 6–14 months. Supports the adolescent phase with focus-building, impulse control, and trick training. First class is people-only.
🏡 Basic Manners - $180/dog - For dogs 6 months and older. Covers everyday skills like sit/stay, recall, loose-leash walking, and greetings. First class is people-only.
🎓 Advanced Manners - $180/dog - For dogs 6 months+. Our Canine Good Citizen prep course, adding distraction and difficulty. Requires completion of Basic Manners.
🧘 Calm Canine - $180/dog - For dogs 6 months+. Helps easily overstimulated or anxious dogs learn to settle and engage calmly. First class is people-only.
🚦 Reactive Rover - $250/dog - For dogs 6 months+. Reduces reactivity in stressful environments and teaches handlers to read and support their dog's stress cues. First class is people-only.
🌆 Reactive Rover 2 - Basic Manners - $250/dog - For dogs 6 months+. Reactive dogs can comfortably learn the same core basic manners skills taught in our regular basic class, working behind barriers with limited visibility to other dogs.
INDIVIDUAL CLASSES
🐶 Puppy Pre-School - $30 per puppy, per class
A single 50-minute session for puppies 9–16 weeks old, focused on early socialization, confidence building, and gentle handling. Limited to 8 puppies. Proof of initial Distemper/Parvo vaccine required.
PRIVATE TRAINING
🐾 In-Person — $80/session
🐾 Virtual — $60/session
50-minute flexible sessions tailored to your dog's specific needs.
