August Dance Improv Workshop - TangoContactImprov

We are delighted to announce the 5th edition of the our TangoContactImprov workshop.

When: 15.8. -18.8. every day from 10am to 2pm

Where: In Prague Czech Republic

What is the TCI summer workshop all about?

In our dance workshop we will be using improvisation as a means of movement communication applying principles of Argentine tango and contact improvisation. At the same time we will be investigating patterns of mutual perception.

What are we focusing on this year?

Communication via various parts of the body. Both internal and external.

Musicality and conveying it in a couple as well as in a group and the effect it has on individual perception.

Speech and spoken word. The impact it has on nonverbal communication. We will examine whether speech can exist outside the context of movement.

Who can apply?

Teachers dancers actors improvisors performers and dance enthusiasts of all levels seeking new sources of inspiration are welcome. This is an open level workshop.
