For August we do something a bit different - we are meeting in the afternoon in order to visit the Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG) which is not open in the morning and is definitely worth a visit.There is lots to see in the various CMAG galleries or you might just enjoy the foyer and the architecture of the building itself. If you prefer, there is also plenty to see and sketch outside including the statue 'Ethos' by the Legislative Assembly and sculpture 'Fractal weave' outside the Canberra Theatre. You might also slip into the Civic Library which will be open in afternoon as well.
