August Anniversary Meeting: Local Good Coffee Co.

General Meeting Timeline: 30 min of bookish chit-chat & settling in, 1 hour of silent reading, and last 30 mins to read/chat before we leave.

Arrival: Please check in using your QR ticket with the SBC host upon arrival.

This meeting will include...

• Summer reading challenge raffle: As we have each year, we are bringing back our summer reading challenge raffle, so don’t forget to bring your bingo card!

• Book swap: To participate in the book swap, please bring any new/gently used book(s) you would like to swap out with other members.
• Punch cards: We are so thrilled to announce our new punch card reward system! More info in another Instagram post, but our anniversary meeting will be your first opportunity to get your reward coupons! Make sure to bring your SBC punch cards!
• Auntie’s Book Bank donation and raffle: We will be collecting new/gently used children’s books for a chance to enter in the Auntie’s Book Bank raffle! More info coming soon.

Community Guidelines

3 Month Rule: If you RSVP and no-show for three meetings, you will automatically be placed on the waitlist for three months to allow others the opportunity to attend. If your plans change, we ask that you adjust your RSVP here on Eventbrite 2 days before the event, so that we have time to notify any members on the waitlist. Of course we understand that last minute issues will arise without warning, but we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible to let us know. You can reach out to us via Instagram, WhatsApp, or the Eventbrite.

One meeting a month and paid meetings: For the time being, we ask that you attend only 1 free meeting a month. If there is a paid meeting in addition to our regular unpaid events in the same month, you are welcome to attend both.
