August 6 - MMP Arlington- Ice Cream Scoop
We are thrilled to announce that our August meeting will be held at a very special venue right here in the Arlington area:
Central Storehouse
8148 John T White Rd, Fort Worth TX 76120
Central Storehouse is a no-barrier, client-choice food pantry ministry that serves around 1,500 families per month in east Fort Worth. Rather than handing people a box of food, they built something that looks and feels like a grocery store because they believe every neighbor deserves dignity, not just a donation. They have expanded to offer health, wellness, mentorship and counseling programs.
Their Executive Director, Jon Rhiddlehoover, will be giving us an inside look at what they do and how they do it.
This is also a big moment for MMP Arlington. You asked for a nonprofit spotlight at our meetings and we are delivering. Central Storehouse is our very first!
