Audubon lights up the early spring with a half-mile long trail of lights after sunset. Walk a luminary-lit trail past ponds that reflect the illuminated trees and stars above. Creative light displays, animal silhouettes, and more highlight natural features in new ways. The lights help highlight and celebrate the seasonal change from winter to spring and Spring Peepers provide the perfect soundtrack to this nighttime nature walk. While luminaries light the trail edges, some sections are darker than others so a flashlight may be helpful.The trail ends at the Nature Center with a warm fire, hot drinks, and snacks for sale, as well as live entertainment. The Nature Center building will be open during the event so you can play in the indoor nature play area, visit the live animals, or shop in the Blue Heron Gift Shop. Entertainment may move inside during inclement weather.
Purchase LED light trinkets at the entrance for additional fun (and to help locate children in the dark). Bring cash to make purchasing easier.

*Music and dancing may move inside in inclement weather.
Special Information: Please bring a flashlight as a backup in case you need it on dark sections of the trail. Parking lots have lights, but there will be an un-lit overflow parking lot used on crowded nights. Food and other goods for sale are easiest to purchase with cash, so please bring cash for small purchases. The Nature Center building will not re-open for Audubon Lights until a half an hour before the event start.
