Audrey LeCrone — New Orleans Jazz & Blues Vocalist
Audrey LeCrone is a New Orleans-based jazz and blues vocalist whose performances draw heavily from 1920s–1950s jazz and blues, particularly songs about love, longing and lust. Her style is sultry, theatrical, witty and intentionally a little naughty—she revives the innuendo and independence found in early jazz and blues rather than presenting the material as museum-piece traditional jazz.
Audrey is breathing new life into century-old jazz and blues through humor, history and storytelling.
She performs with Audrey LeCrone & The CrawZaddies, whose repertoire focuses on spicy vintage jazz standards. The group has appeared at venues and institutions including the New Orleans Jazz Museum, and Audrey has performed at French Quarter Festival and New Orleans venues such as Three Muses and Jazz Playhouse.
