Auditory Reset is a new initiative of an ongoing concert programme line starting from October 2022 at A Lab in Amsterdam Noord. Every second Tuesday of the month from 18:00 till 18:30 we are presenting radiating musicians with intriguing performances.

On the 13th of June the well-know Swiss trombonist and composer Roland Dahinden is coming to perform his work influenced by great artists of the 20th century - Luciano Berio and Jackson Pollock.

In his first piece called Reflection Roland is going to improvise on the Sequenza V by Luciano Berio (which he used to perform before) by using the same techniques and sounds Berio explored in this composition.

The second piece Recall Pollock was inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock following the gestures of his action paintings. Pollock was an American painter and a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement in the 20th century. Several cymbals lay on the floor surrounding the musician and during the performance being hit by grains.

Come to experience our concert in a new extraordinary way.

Let's pause focus and escape for a moment from the outside rushing world!
