Stone's Throw Dinner Theatre will hold open auditions for "You're Good Man Charlie Brown" on April 29th and April 30th at 7:00 pm. Becki Arnall is directing this fun musical. Due to scheduling conflicts, auditions will be held at "Dream Theatre Troupe" located at 124 S Main St, Joplin. Performances will be at the Stone's Throw Dinner Theatre venue in Carthage.
"You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" is based on the comic strip "PEANUTS" by Charles M. Schultz with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner and is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatrical on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC (www.concordtheatricals.com).
3 men, 2 women and 1 of either gender are needed for this production. Auditioners will be asked to 1) sing a song, of their choice, from a contemporary musical 2) perform choreography as directed 3) do a cold read from the script.
Show dates are June 27-30.
