Imagine if John Cleese, William Shakespeare and Norman Lear had collaborated on a play and released it in 1980 as a sitcom. You would get TheatreFor's The Merry Wives of Windsor, a new adaptation by Dee O'Brien of Shakespeare's classic farce.
Five women and six men play all the roles and off each other as they lead Sir John Falstaff, themselves and the audience on a wild ride around the streets of Windsor.
Auditions consisting of cold readings from the script for all roles will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday January 5 and Monday January 6 at TheatreFor, 1863 N Highland Ave in Clearwater.
