Please prepare: A contemporary dramatic monologue.
Please bring: A headshot and resume if you have one and a list of all conflicts between May 6, 2024 and July 21, 2024.

Show Description:
Set in a time-bending, darkly comic world between heaven and hell, THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT reexamines the plight and fate of the New Testament’s most infamous and unexplained sinner.
Roles being cast: (Please note: Character descriptions are taken directly from the play and were provided by the licensing agent as part of our production agreement. LAT policy is that any actor who can play the role as described by the playwright is invited to audition and may be cast.) Henrietta Iscariot: the mother of Judas Iscariot, she is described as a “well built woman”. This role will be played by a female presenting actor and should appear older than the actor playing Judas.
Loretta/Mary Magdalene/Sister Glenna: Loretta is a member of the jury. Mary Magdalene was a friend to Jesus. This role will be played by a female presenting actor.
Pontius Pilate/Uncle Pino: This role will be played by a male presenting who is black.
Sigmund Freud, Saint Thomas, Soldier 1: This role may be played by any actor.
Matthias of Galilee/Saint Peter/Soldier 2: This role may be played by any actor.
Disclosures:
It is highly recommended that actors familiarize themselves with this play prior to auditioning. It contains cursing, religious, ethnic, and other slurs, and will be performed as written.
