Audition to be part of the cast that brings Roald Dahl's world of pure imagination to life with SPCT's winter production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This is an ensemble musical with plenty of delicious roles for adults and youth.

AUDITIONS:
Open to youth ages 8 - 18, and adults of all ages. Considerations for main roles will be focused on actors age 14 and older.
Video auditions will be considered. Please email [email protected] for details.
Youth 8 - 18: Audition materials will be emailed at least 1 week prior to auditions
Adults: Please prepare to sing 16 bars of any song. An accompanist will be provided at auditions or you may bring a digital track and connect to a portable speaker via Bluetooth. Also please prepare a 30-second monologue of your choosing. Music and reading can be provided to registrants at the audition upon request.
REHEARSALS:
Begin October 27.
Sunday - Wednesday each week.
6 - 9 p.m. at the SPCT Rehearsal Barn (550 S. Bird Street, Sun Prairie).
No rehearsals December 24, 25, 31 or January 1. But otherwise rehearsals will occur during the Sun Prairie School's Winter Break.
PERFORMANCES:
January 10 at 7 p.m.
January 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
January 12 at 2 p.m.
January 17 at 7 p.m.
January 18 at 2 p.m.
Tech week is January 5 - 10. No conflicts are allowed during tech week or performances.
A conflict calendar to fill out and additional information requested by the production team will be emailed to those registered for auditions prior to the audition date.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
