Open Auditions for the Musical Comedy "The Pirates of Tucker’s Island - the Rebooty" Sunday, December 14, 1pm-4pm and Monday, December 15, 6pm-8pm. Produced by The Little Egg Theatre Company, the original “The Pirates of Tucker’s Island” was the company’s premier production - a contrafactum conceived and written by LETCO’s founders Desi Starr and Jim Henry. Current adaptation and additional material developed by Director Peter Reimann.
To celebrate LETCO’s 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, we invite past, current and new players to come out to play with us for Pirates - the Rebooty. In addition to casting our lead singing roles, we have a large ensemble of Townspeople, ‘Mooncussers’, and of course Pirates to cast! All experience levels are welcome!

Monday 12/15 Auditions 6pm-8pm located at 258 East Main Street (Rt 9) Tuckerton 08087 (The offices of SeaCure Moving next to Quick Check)
What to Prepare:
Leading Singing Roles listed below.
Please prepare a short acapella song in your range. Sides will be provided from the script for character readings.
Mayor - the Mayor of Little Egg Harbor cheerful, boastful, affable but ineffective, clueless, takes the credit and passes the buck. Protective of daughter.
Natalie - the Mayor’s daughter, willful, hopeful and resourceful, catches Robert’s eye
Elvira - A town's woman. Fiercely independent, feisty, brave, critical, enjoys a challenge. Nothing gets past her.
Jonas - The Mayor's right hand man. If there's a job to be done, Jonas is probably doing it. Overly committed, and stretched too thin.
Jasmine - Jonas’ devoted wife, feeling neglected and overworked due to Jonas' constant absence.
Togar - King of the Pirates, Captain of the Bloody Mary, sly and cunning, egotistical. Will do anything to not go into battle himself.
Robert - First mate of the Bloody Mary. Loyal, but quietly longing for a different life.
Vlad Pootan - Leader of the Mooncussers - Ruthless and a braggart, but in the end, a coward.
***Supporting Roles and Chorus include all various Townspeople, Mooncussers (smugglers) and Pirates. ***
What to Prepare:
If you are comfortable singing please prepare a short acapella song.
Otherwise sides will be provided from the script to read.

March 12, 13, 14, and 15 (Thursday - Sunday) 2026
Additional Required Dates:
Tech Week starting Wednesday March 4. (Evening weekday and day time weekend March 7 & 8.)
Rehearsal Schedule:
Tentative Read Jan 2 or Jan 3. Blocking/Music Rehearsals Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tuesday Jan 6 through Feb 26. Plus Friday Feb 6th and Monday March 2. Most rehearsals at the LEH Community Center, unless otherwise noted on schedule. May add as needed.
