Auditions are: March 2nd at 3pm and 6:30pm on March 3rd. No callbacks are planned at this time, but we will send out emails if we need limited callbacks. Open to Ages 16+Please bring your list of conflicts. The goal is to start rehearsals on March 6th. First rehearsal will be to pass out books, meet the cast, discuss logistics, and read through the script.
1) If you are auditioning, you will need to pick a song selection from the show or a song in a style that shows off your voice. We want you to pick a song that shows your skill. If there is a specific character from the show you want to audition for, you can pick a character song and a second song that shows your vocal skill. Please note that you might be cut off if you have 2 selections in the interest of time. Our Music Director, Eli King, will be accompanying you.
2) Everyone needs a monologue. Less than 2 minutes. The monologue should show your comedic and/or dramatic style. These don’t have to be completely memorized, but you need to know it well enough that you can act the part.
3) There may be some cold readings, but those will be limited. The monologue is your real audition opportunity.
Rehearsals are planned on Sunday from 2-4 and Monday through Thursday from 6:30 until 9 pm. We will try very hard to have a rehearsal schedule broken up into groups so not everyone is needed all the time.
