About the Show
Based on Michael Butterworthโs novel The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo, Lucky Stiff is an offbeat, hilarious murder mystery farce full of mistaken identities, six million bucks in diamonds, and a corpse in a wheelchair!
The story follows Harry Witherspoon, an unassuming English shoe salesman, who must take the embalmed body of his murdered uncle on a vacation to Monte Carlo. If Harry succeeds in passing off his uncle as alive, he inherits $6,000,000. If he fails, the money goes to the Universal Dog Home of Brooklynโor his uncleโs gun-toting ex!
