Horizon Performing Arts is thrilled to announce auditions for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! DATES: May 18 & 20, 2026
Callbacks will be May 21 by invitation only

WHAT TO PREPARE: Those auditioning should prepare a 16-32 bar cut (approx. 1 minute) in the style of the show. You may bring a backing track or sheet music (an accompanist will be available). Please come prepared to move in the event the director would like to work on improv or other movement activities. You may read from the script, as well.

Additional information: Auditionees must be 18 years old by May 18 in order to audition. Rehearsals are Monday-Thursday from 6:30-9:30 pm with some weekend commitments. Performances are August 6, 7, 8, & 9 at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre in Ann Arbor.
