Auditions for FROZEN are coming to the Little Theatre’s Pirolo Joyce Center on Monday & Tuesday, July 27 & 28! Whether you dream of building snowmen, ruling Arendelle, or bringing Disney’s beloved story to life on stage, this is your chance to shine.

AUDITION DETAILS
Auditions/Adults (16+): Monday, July 27 & Tuesday, July 28 from 6-8 pm
Auditions/Kids (8-15): Saturday, August 1 from 10 am-1 pm
Callbacks (adults only; if needed/by invitation): Wednesday, July 29 at 6 pm
at the Pirolo Joyce Center, 4015 Brownsboro Rd., Winston-Salem
Roles are available for multiple actors (ages 8+). Principal character descriptions are listed below.
Please prepare 32 measures of a song that shows off your voice in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided. Auditionees may also bring recorded accompaniment. A cappella is permitted but discouraged.
The audition will include choreography, so please dress comfortably. Feel free to bring dance shoes, if you have them. *An audition dance instruction video will be added to the LTWS web page soon. Please make sure to watch it (& practice!).*
The first read-through will tentatively be held Monday, August 17. Generally, rehearsals will be held Monday-Friday evenings from 6:30-9:30 pm. This is subject to change depending on the cast’s availability and the creative team’s discretion.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
All characters can be portrayed by any ethnicity.
Elsa: Future Queen of Arendelle and Anna’s older sister; born with magical powers, isolates herself from others out of fear. Female/Vocal range: Eb5-E3
Anna: Princess of Arendelle and Elsa’s younger sister; an eternal optimist who longs to be loved and to connect with other people. Female/Vocal range: E5-G3
Kristoff: Hardworking ice harvester with a prickly exterior that hides a big heart. Male/Vocal range: Bb4-A2
Hans: Prince of the Southern Isles and youngest of thirteen brothers; charming and ambitious. Male/Vocal range: A4-A2
Olaf: Magical snowman with a childlike innocence. “In Summer” (Alto Key): E3-Eb5; “In Summer” (Tenor Key): B2-Bb4. Any gender/Vocal range: Eb5-E3 [note: actor will be manipulating a puppet]
Sven: Kristoff’s fiercely loyal reindeer best friend. [note: actor will be manipulating a puppet]
Oaken: Amiable salesperson and relentless advocate of hygge; cheerful and jolly. Male/Vocal range: Bb4-A2
Weselton: Duke from a neighboring kingdom; chauvinistic, impolite, and judgmental. Male/Vocal range: A4-F3
Young Anna: Young princess of Arendelle with youthful exuberance; fun-loving troublemaker; mesmerized by her sister’s magic. Female/Vocal range: E5-Bb3
Young Elsa: Elder princess of Arendelle with magical powers; obedient daughter; protective sister. Female/Vocal range: E5-A3
Queen Iduna: Queen of Arendelle and the child of the Northhuldra; strong and compassionate mother. Female/Vocal range: E5-F3
King Agnarr: King of Arendelle; warm-hearted and protective father. Male/Vocal range: C4-B2
Pabbie: Mystical shaman and patriarch of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s wise, adoptive father. Male/Vocal range: Gb4-Ab2
Bulda: Spiritual matriarch of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s nurturing and vibrant adoptive mother. Female/Vocal range: D5-Bb3
