Thalian Association Community Theatre will hold auditions for the holiday show of their Main Stage season, White Christmas, Monday October 7, and Tuesday October 8 at 7 pm. Auditions will be held at the Community Arts Center, 120 S. 2nd Street in downtown Wilmington. The production, directed by Kendra Goehring and choreographed by Judy Greenhut, runs December 13 through December 22 at Historic Thalian Hall.
Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre style song to sing along with the sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

Callbacks will be Wednesday October 9 at the Community Arts Center. Please be prepared to read from the provided script, sing from the show, and attend a dance call. Please arrive in clothing and footwear suited for dancing.
Actors of all races and ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition for our entire season! All roles are available.
Please note: TACT is a community theatre that produces shows requiring various skill levels per show. While we cannot guarantee that everyone will be cast, we encourage all performers of different skill levels and talents to audition. People new to Thalian Association are always welcome!
Synopsis:
Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features 17 Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.

Judy Haynes - early 20's, strong jazz and tap-dancing needed - a major song-and-dance performer
General Henry Waverly - 50's to mid 60's
Martha Watson - late 40's to mid 70's, a winning, appealing character-comedienne
Susan Waverly - 9 years old, spunky, good singer
