Audition Announcement! Save the date for auditions for REACH Youth and Family Theatre's summer production of 'The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.'
Open auditions, for those who are ages 10 and up, will be held on Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th at 6 p.m.
Auditioners will be asked to read from the script, sing a portion of a song with accompaniment (a backing track or instrument accompaniment; no a cappella), and will be taught a very brief section of choreography. The choreography section of the audition will be in a group, the singing portion will be solo, and the reading portion will be either solo or in pairs/groupings.
These auditions will take place on the Briar Cliff University campus in the St. Francis Center building. (See the first post under the discussion tab for a picture of the map).
Show dates are July 25th-27th and August 1st-3rd. Performances will be held on the Morningside University Campus in the Klinger-Neal Theater.
