Seven Ages Theatricals, Sheboygan’s premiere Independent Theatre Company, is thrilled to announce auditions for its upcoming production of The Bible: The Complete Word of God (Abridged), performing March 26th - 29th at Blue Harbor Resort. This piece is a hilarious take on both the New and Old Testaments, delivered by three actors in 90 minutes. Directors Amanda Ellis and Tom Berger are asking actors to prepare 1 - 2 minutes of being funny. Anyway you know how. Jokes, monologues, bizarre physical contortions, whatever makes you funny is what we would like to see. We may also have sides from which you may read. Also, the show requires heavy physical comedy skills, some singing and musical moments, and any other additional special skills you’ve been dying to unleash (for example: juggling, stilt-walking, fire-eating, tumbling, velociraptor impersonations, etc.). As it’s technically a musical, any vocal or instrumental prowess you’d like to show off would be greatly appreciated. A piano will be available for use.
The directors are seeking a cast of three actors, any gender / age / type, as long as they’re funny and have a comfortable degree of physical stamina.
Auditions will take place at LUCIE’s Jake’s location at 529 Ontario Avenue in Sheboygan. The first round will be starting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st from 1 - 4 p.m. Please feel free to email [email protected] with any questions. We can’t wait to meet you!
