Rated R - language, implied nudity, drug references, mature content, violence, sexual content. Written and directed by Rebecca Litsey. The show will run at Pocket Sandwich Theatre July 17, 18, 24 and 25 at 11:15pm and July 28 at 7:30pm.The theater has ordered the…ahem…wrong script for a family friendly show. They desperately try to scrape together a clean show but have no idea what the original script held. Sifting through innuendo and explicit scenes they piece together a, mostly, clean show, every once in a while slipping up on language. To make matters worse, the understudies -who are also the stage hands- are on a mission to get on stage. Accidents keep happening as our leading man and lady dodge wayward set pieces and faulty props thrown at them by devious understudies.
Will the story make sense? Will everyone survive? Will they even finish the show? Who knows! The only thing that is certain….hilarity will ensue!

Available Roles:
ALEX: Male / 30s-40s
Handay-(Hannay): The “straight man” of the show. He thinks he is the most competent person on stage and spends the entire time trying to keep the rest of the cast PG. Very frustrated by the unprofessionalism of it all. When playing Handay he speaks with a British accent.

RACHEL: Female / 20s-30s
Pantella-British accent/Anybottema Shit-German or vaguely European accent/ Gargleit-Scottish: Severely homeschooled. Doesn’t understand innuendo or any of the dirty jokes. Pure sunshine and rainbows. Doesn’t understand any of the implications of what she does.
-Will perform stage kiss and eat on stage
CLOWN 1: Masc Presenting / Any age
down for any bit. Speaks with various dialects.
CLOWN 2: Femme Presenting / Any age
down for any bit. Speaks with various dialects.
VIVICA: Female / 20s-40s
Female understudy, really really wants to sleep with Alex and wants to play the female role even more. When attempting to play any role she speaks either in a British accent or the one listed for that character.
ZACH: Male / 20s-40s
Male understudy. Hates Alex. OVER it. Knows the script better than anyone.
DIRECTOR: Female / 30s-50s
She is so tired of dealing with everyone’s bullshit. Working on three hours of sleep and two Redbulls. Throughout the show she walks through the house holding her notebook and taking notes. NOTE: This character will be encouraged to improvise dialogue throughout performances
ERIN: Femme Presenting / Any age
Stage manager. They are REALLY good at their job but unfortunately everything tech-wise has started to fall on them. They are now fixing props and costumes, dealing with crazy actors, trying to keep the director on track, and they still haven’t had the time to make a set change list or spike the stage…they are running on maybe an hour of sleep and five Redbulls.
