Get ready to raise your voice, find your groove, and audition to be part of one of the most joyful, high-energy musicals ever to hit the stage!
Sister Act is a feel-good comedy packed with unforgettable music, hilarious characters, dazzling dance numbers, and a story about friendship, courage, and finding where you truly belong. Whether you're an experienced performer or thinking about auditioning for the very first time, we'd love to see you.
This production offers a wide variety of roles for performers of different ages, personalities, and experience levels. From powerhouse vocalists and dynamic dancers to memorable character roles and an energetic ensemble, there's a place for everyone to shine.
Audition details:
Auditions are open to anyone who is over the age of 18.
Please prepare 30 seconds to 1 minute of a song in the style of the show or a song from the show. Bring sheet music to give a pianist. A Bluetooth speaker will also be available if you wish to use a recorded track.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. You may be asked to learn some choreography.
Callbacks, if needed, will be held in the morning of Sat, July 25.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals begin on August 3. And, most weeks, will be held Sunday - Wednesday, 6:30 pm - 9 pm at the SPCT Rehearsal Barn (550 S Bird St, Sun Prairie).
Those auditioning will be asked to fill out an online form with any conflicts during the rehearsal timeframe.
Tech Rehearsals & Performances
Technical rehearsals run the evenings of September 20 - 24 . Call times may vary depending on the role. And may end around 10 pm.
Performances are Fridays, Sept 25 and Oct 2 at 7 pm; Saturdays, Sept 26 and Oct 3 at 7 pm; and Sundays, Sept 27 and October 4 at 2 pm. All performances are at the Central Heights Middle School Theater (220 Kroncke Drive, Sun Prairie).
There will be brush-up rehearsal on Wed, Sept 30.
Call times may vary depending on the role. No conflicts are allowed during Tech Week or Performances.
