Tallgrass Theatre Company (TTC) announces auditions for the Sarah Frank & Jack Balcombe Dream Project:
POTUS or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive by Selina Fillinger
The audition time slots will take place on Monday, August 31st at 2019 Grand Ave, Suite 100, West Des Moines, IA.
Directed by: Bridget Grace Sheaff
The Story: One four-letter word is about to rock 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. When the President unwittingly spins a PR nightmare into a global crisis, the seven brilliant and beleaguered women he relies upon most risk life, liberty, and the pursuit of sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble.
Show Dates: November 6th through November 22nd, 2026, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2pm
Details: No need to prepare a monologue, the audition will consist of cuts from the script that will be provided at the theatre.
There are 15-minute time slots with 5 spots per audition time. You can also download and fill out the audition form ahead of time or show up 15 mins early to fill it out on the day. Please bring a current headshot.
We are looking for a diverse, multi-cultural group of women age 21 and up.
