AUDITIONS for CALIFORNIA SUITE!
Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Sign in begins at 6:30PM, Auditions begin at 7:00PM, Must be signed in by 7:15PM.
All roles are open. Must be 18+ to audition.
Swings/Understudies may be cast/considered.
Please bring headshot and resume with you to audition.
Please be prepared to perform cold readings from the script.
Performance Dates: Friday and Saturday evenings June 13,14, 20, 21, 27, 28, and Sunday matinees June 15 & 29.
All performers will be paid a per-performance stipend.
Additionally, those cast will be given the opportunity to join the restaurant service staff (if legally eligible, and following training) where they may earn gratuities.
Must reside within driving distance to Hagerstown, MD. Housing is not provided.

Character Breakdown:
"Vistor from New York"
• Hannah Warren - A workaholic Manhattan magazine writer, age 40s - 50s.
• William Warren - Former husband of Hannah, a Hollywood screenwriter, age 40s - 50s.
"Visitor from Philadelphia"
• Marvin Michaels - Nervous husband, 30s - 50s, who discovers a call girl in his hotel room bed the morning his wife arrives to join him.
• Millie Michaels - Marvin's unsuspecting wife, age 30s - 50s.
• Call girl - Mostly comatose, any age 18+.
"Visitors from London"
• Sidney Nichols - British bon vivant (must have British accent)
• Diana Nichols - Sidney's long-time wife, a British star nominated for an Academy Award (must have British accent)
"Visitors from Chicago"
• Mort Hollender - On a disastrous vacation with his wife Beth and best friends the Franklyns, 30s - 40s, more physically imposing than Stu Franklyn.
• Beth Hollender - Mort's wife, injured while playing tennis. 30s - 40s.
• Stu Franklyn -- Mort's friend, thin. 30s - 40s.
• Gert Franklyn - Stu's wife, injured (slightly) during the action of the play. 30s - 40s.
