Director Trish Cooper and Producer Laureen Catlin are excited to announce auditions for the final show of MCP's season honoring the 250th anniversary of the founding of the country.
Auditions for Decision Height will be held Sunday, July 19, from 2 to 5pm and Tuesday, July 21, from 7 to 9 pm at the Playhouse. Performances ar October 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10 at 8pm and October 4 at 2pm.
The show tells the story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs) who served in World War II assisting the men who were fighting. Through triumphs and tragedies, this play explores their experiences, the deep bonds they form, and the sacrifices they make while highlighting an under-recognized group of American heroes. These young women grow as a group with a shared goal of doing their part to assist in the war effort and making the most out of this (at the time) once in a lifetime opportunity.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
The cast consists of nine women - seven in their 20s to early 30s and two who are 40+ in age. Performers from all cultural backgrounds are welcomed to the cast.
