Performances February 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28
On September 11, 2001, 38 diverted airplanes landed in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland — nearly doubling its population overnight. Without hesitation, this tight-knit community threw open their doors, feeding and sheltering 7,000 frightened strangers from across the globe. Propelled by a rousing score and an impossibly warm heart, Come From Away transforms one of history's darkest days into a radiant celebration of human decency. A story about fear and grief, but above all about ordinary people choosing, without hesitation, to be extraordinary.
Directed by Carrie Braaten Moore. Music direction by Marilyn Yennie.
Seeking multiple adult actors. Actors of all ethnicities and genders are strongly encouraged to audition.
Auditions will be held from 11am-3pm on October 10th and from 11am-1pm on October 11th. Callbacks October 11th from 1pm-2:30pm.
